- 5 bacon strips, diced
- 1/2 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash hot sauce
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, plus additional for topping (optional), divided
- 1 bag (6-8 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- nonstick cooking spray
- 1 bag (16 ounces) frozen tater tots
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- In large skillet over medium heat, brown ground turkey, bacon, onion and garlic until turkey is no longer pink. Sprinkle flour over turkey and stir well to combine. Stir in milk, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce. Cook 2-3 minutes, or until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese, frozen vegetables and sour cream.
- Spray slow cooker with nonstick spray. Place some tater tots in bottom of slow cooker. Pour meat gravy over tater tots. Arrange remaining tater tots on top.
- Cover and cook on low 3-3 1/2 hours. During last 10 minutes of cooking, sprinkle with extra cheddar cheese, if desired. Cover and finish cooking.

- 8 slices bacon
- 1 pint grape tomatoes
- 2 medium Hass avocados
- 4 romaine hearts
- 4 hard-cooked eggs, peeled
- 1 package (4 ounces) crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup honey mustard dressing
- Preheat large skillet over medium-high heat. Small dice bacon.
- Cook bacon, stirring occasionally, until crispy, 4-5 minutes. Using slotted spoon, remove crispy bacon to paper towel-lined plate; set aside.
- Wash and dry grape tomatoes, avocados and romaine hearts.
- Using clean cutting board, roughly chop eggs. Place on large plate.
- Halve tomatoes lengthwise. Add to plate with eggs.
- Halve and pit avocados; using spoon, scoop out flesh and medium dice. Add to plate and set aside.

- 1 pound regular-sliced bacon (not thick-sliced)
- 10 eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/3 cup half-and-half or milk
- 1 tablespoon garlic pepper
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh or frozen spinach
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Using muffin tin, wrap bacon around inside of each muffin hole. In bowl, whisk eggs, cheese, half-and-half, garlic pepper and spinach. Pour into each hole, filling about halfway to avoid overflowing while cooking. Cook 40 minutes, or until eggs are golden.
Tips: Place muffin tin on cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil to catch grease and make cleanup easier. If you want bacon taste without lining muffin holes, mix fried bacon pieces into eggs.
Substitutions: Line each hole with hashbrowns then add egg mixture. Use broccoli instead of spinach, if desired.

- 2-3 sheets puff pastry dough
- 5 Envy Apples
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 egg

- ice cream, custard or cream, for serving (optional)
- Preheat oven to 365 F.
- Use two sheets semi-thawed pastry to line fluted tart pan approximately 10 inches, pressing and trimming neatly to fit; chill 15 minutes.
- Peel, core and thinly slice apples into large bowl; sprinkle with sugar, lemon zest and cornstarch then toss well to evenly coat.
- Arrange apple slices in pastry-lined tart pan, laying flat.
- Beat egg with milk. Brush egg wash around pastry rim.
- Cut 1/2-inch strips from remaining pastry sheet and make lattice pattern over apples, crimping edges once lattice is completed.
- Brush tart with egg wash and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Yield: 1 pizza
- 1 tablespoon pizza sauce
- 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
- 1 storebought pizza crust
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/3 cup stilton cheese, divided

- Drain potatoes; add to pan. Mash potatoes, gradually adding crema Mexicana, butter, onion powder, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Transfer to greased 13-by-9-inch baking dish; sprinkle with cheese, chorizo and bacon. Refrigerate, covered, up to 1 day.
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Remove potatoes from refrigerator and let stand while oven heats. Bake, covered, about 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 minutes, or until heated through.

- 4 strips thick bacon, cut into cubes
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch segments
- 1 small onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 Fresno peppers, diced
- 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 can READ German Potato Salad, drained
- 1 cup beef broth
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- n large saucepan over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving about 2 tablespoons drippings in saucepan.
- Add smoked sausage and cook until browned.
- Once sausage is cooked, add diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until onion is translucent.
- Drain excess fat then stir in chili powder, coriander, cumin, cayenne pepper, oregano and Fresno peppers until well mixed.
- Add drained diced tomatoes, German potato salad and cooked bacon to saucepan.
- Add beef broth and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Bring mixture to simmer and let cook about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until flavors are melded.
Substitution: Jalapenos can be used for Fresno peppers.

- 1/2 cup small pasta, such as ditalini, uncooked

- 1 tablespoon lemon zest (optional)

Stir in spinach and bean salad. Simmer 5 minutes, or until heated through.

- 4 wooden skewers
- 1 red onion

- 4 slices (3 ounces each) sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons hot honey
- 1 small wheel (8 ounces) brie, at room temperature, cut into thin strips
- 8 ounces Aunt Nellie’s Diced Pickled Beets (1/2 jar or 2 individual diced pickled beet cups)
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, or to taste
- Place two bread slices on cutting board. Drizzle with hot honey then add 4 ounces brie evenly across bread.
- Drain beets and pat dry. Add evenly on top of brie followed by basil and remaining brie.
- Spread 1 tablespoon butter on one side of remaining bread slices. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt. Place top piece of bread on each sandwich.
- Heat cast-iron or frying pan over medium-low heat then add sandwiches butter sides down. Butter top sides and add remaining garlic salt.

- 2 pounds (approximately 4 large) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese

- nonstick cooking spray

- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Using sharp knife, slice pocket or slit into each chicken breast and fold open.

- Fold chicken over and close so cheese and potatoes are inside pockets.
- Take 2-3 bacon slices and completely wrap stuffed chicken breasts, tucking loose ends of bacon on undersides of chicken.
- Spray baking dish with nonstick cooking spray then place bacon wrapped chicken on tray. Season chicken with pepper, to taste.
- Bake approximately 40 minutes until internal temperature of chicken reaches 160 F.
- Turn oven to broil on high (500 F) and broil 2-3 minutes to crisp bacon until chicken reaches 165 F.
- Remove from the oven and rest 5 minutes then serve.
